2017 Geophagy is a large-scale installation. The first version was made for a solo exhibition of the same name at the Gus Fisher Gallery, Auckland, April-May 2017. Pallets, 200kg second hand clothing, 5 single channel looped HD videos on monitors.
2000 Christmas cake with three tiered icing (almond paste, castor sugar icing, coloured map icing with glazed icing sugar decorations). 100 x 300 x 300 mm. Shown as part of It’s a DIY World at the Jonathan Smart Gallery. Cake consumed by guests at the opening, with diminishing remnants for the duration of the show.
2012 Painted wood, film lights, electric cords and sandbags. Cyclorama/infinity curve height 2250 mm. Installation dimensions variable. Part of the exhibition Redoubting Antarctica at Two Rooms Gallery, Auckland, 2012. The cyclorama could be used by visitors for selfies, with any footprint residue (this was a winter exhibition) left in place.
